Morecambe Bay Walk - Cancelled - St Catherine's Hospice

Morecambe Bay Walk – Cancelled

📢 We’re so sorry to share that tomorrow’s Morecambe Bay Walk has been cancelled by the organisers due to safety concerns in the River Kent, following recent weather conditions.
Lots of fresh water means depth is unpredictable and footing is soft in lots of areas.
The safety of walkers is always the top priority, and no risks are ever taken
👉All participants will receive an email shortly with further information.
We appreciate it’s sad news, and not what any of us want, but would like to thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Take part in one of the most unique and scenic walks in England this summer

Take on this eight-mile trek across the beautiful sands of Morecambe Bay. This iconic walk has spectacular panoramic views and photo opportunities, and you can immerse yourself in Morecambe Bay’s unique scenery and wildlife – all whilst raising sponsorship to help support the important work of your local hospice. Crossing the sands with an experienced and knowledgeable guide is the only way to traverse the ever-changing flats and channels, and takes around three to four hours.
