Yellow Day 2026

Enjoy a family-fun day out in support of St Catherine’s Hospice at our popular Yellow Day garden fete.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy a host of entertainment, activities, food and attractions in the beautiful grounds of St Catherine’s Park on Sunday 7th June, 11am-4pm.

There will be plenty of stalls with local traders, dancers and singers to keep you entertained throughout the event, lots of games and fun for all the family, and delicious food and drinks from The Mill Outside.

A highlight of this family-friendly event in beautiful St Catherine’s Park is often the popular Duck Race on our river. This year there’s two races, and as well as the public taking part, companies are sponsoring larger ducks. Come and cheer for your favourite and get in touch to sponsor a duck, with a chance of winning a trophy by emailing fundraising@stcatherines.co.uk

Our gardens will be decorated with beautiful yellow ribbons tied in memory of special people during Yellow Ribbon Day and throughout June and July. 

As this annual garden party in the grounds of the Hospice is always hugely popular, a Park and Ride system (wheelchair accessible bus) is used. This is based at Leyland Trucks, Croston Rd, Leyland PR26 6LZ, with the shuttle bus starting from 10.30am.

Parking at St Catherine’s will be reserved for anyone visiting a patient, or Blue Badge holders.
