Verification of Expected Death for Registered Nurses (November)

The ‘Verification of Expected Death for Registered Nurses’ session will cover:

• Understand the definition of expected death
• Understand the difference between verification and certification
• Awareness of the correct procedure for verifying death related to Covid-19 and how to check the vital signs
• Awareness of the record keeping and legal requirements
• Understand and complete the competency assessment tool

This session will be delivered online by St Catherine’s Hospice. You would need to have access to a computer or mobile device with internet connection, a webcam and a microphone. Please note attendees must log into the event via the invite received from St Catherine’s Hospice 15 minutes before the start.
