That’s because not only are you giving your loved ones the chance to win £1,000 each Friday you pay for them to play, you’re also contributing towards the specialised care we provide our patients and their families.
Vouchers are available in regular increments starting from £10. As it costs £1 each week to play, a £10 voucher will run for 10 weeks, and so on.
Please note that recipients of gift cards must be aged 18 years or over.
How it Works
When you buy a St Catherine’s Lottery Gift Card for your loved one, they will be assigned a personal lottery number.
This will be entered into the draw date of your choice, and will continue each week until their Gift Card credit runs out.
Please note the gift card will be sent to you and we won’t contact the recipient directly.

Our lottery team also sells single lottery tickets which make great, affordable wedding favours – giving guests the chance to win the jackpot and costing you just £1 per guest.

In 2023 a total profit of £414687 raised by the lottery (including the car and Christmas raffles) was spent directly on funding the services provided by St Catherine’s Hospice Lancs Ltd, which provides free care and support to local patients and their families. For every £1 paid to play our weekly lottery – 47 pence went directly towards providing patient care; 18 pence was spent on prizes and 35 pence on promoting and running the lottery. For every £1 paid to enter our car raffle – 59 pence went directly towards providing patient care; 33 pence was spent on prizes and 8 pence went towards promoting and printing costs. For every £1 paid to enter our Christmas raffle – 70 pence went directly towards providing patient care; 17 pence was spent on prizes and 13 pence went towards promoting and printing costs. Each week winners are randomly selected by our Random Number Generator on the computer. There is a 1 in 14479 chance of winning a prize based on figures for 2022 but will vary depending on players in the draw each week.
