Chorley Bereavement Café
10 June 2026 2:00 pm
The Bereavement Café in Chorley is held at St Laurence’s Church on the second Wednesday of the month, 2:00pm-3:30pm
Take on this poignant evening walk in memory of your loved ones, while raising much-needed funds for our charity.
Everyone is welcome to the hospice grounds from 5:30pm to enjoy a host of entertainment and activities, to take part in remembrance opportunities, and to stock up on sparkly accessories from our stalls. The 6-mile and 8-mile challenges both start at 8pm, (you can choose which route to take part in on the night).
Parking is sorted, as Sainsbury’s Bamber Bridge is relaxing parking rules for the event. You can park in their car park from 5pm for the duration of the event without checking in at customer services.
Please note online registrations will be closed on Tuesday 23rd June at 10pm, so please sign up before that date.
Please encourage your partner, friends and family members to come too, getting sponsorship or fundraising in their own way. Every person, every step, raises money to support more patients when they need us most.
Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome to join too; and you walk at your own pace.
Everyone gets a commemorative T-shirt (with space for your loved one’s name) then a medal and hot butty at the finish.
This event sponsored by James Hall & Co. Ltd
